"Dr. Aaron Welch received his PhD from the University of Miami in 2015 and his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law in 2006. He has extensive experience with third party certification programs (including GAA BAP, Global GAP, and ASC), environmental monitoring, state and federal permitting processes, and regulatory compliance. Dr. Welch is also the founder of Two Docks Shellfish, LLC a vertically integrated aquaculture firm producing hard clams and oysters in Florida. He co-founded Proaquatix in 2009, which quickly became one of the world’s leaders in marine ornamental fish production and food fish seed supply.
